Migos Could Be Preparing One Final Album — And This One Would Mean More Than Music

For years, it seemed like the Migos chapter had permanently closed. Now, Quavo and Offset are back in the studio together, and the possibility of one final Migos album suddenly feels a lot more real.

The speculation picked up after Offset shared photos from a studio session with Quavo in May 2026. The official Migos Instagram account also resurfaced with images from the session after years of inactivity, immediately catching fans' attention.

But the biggest clue may have come directly from Quavo.

Before the studio photos surfaced, Quavo shared a throwback picture with Takeoff while laying out music he still wants to complete. Among the projects he teased were a Takeoff release, another Unc & Phew project and a mysterious "LAST ????? ALBUM." Offset responded to the post with an old Migos photo and the message, "On dat!!!"

For anyone who followed Migos beyond the hit records, the moment carries some serious history.

Before Takeoff's death in 2022, the trio had already begun moving in different directions. Quavo and Takeoff started releasing music together as Unc & Phew, while Offset pursued his own career. Questions about tension between Quavo and Offset followed, making the future of Migos increasingly uncertain.

Then everything changed when Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston in November 2022.

His death transformed what had been an apparent group breakup into something far more permanent. Quavo and Offset eventually reunited publicly at the 2023 BET Awards, performing "Hotel Lobby" and "Bad and Boujee" during an emotional tribute to Takeoff.

Since then, the relationship between the two has continued to improve. Offset said in 2025 that he and Quavo were communicating and compared their previous issues to disagreements that happen within families. He even left the door open for them to make music together again.

Now they're actually in the studio.

There is still no official Migos album announcement, title or release date, so fans shouldn't treat the project as confirmed just yet. But if Quavo's hints lead where many believe they're leading, this wouldn't feel like Migos simply trying to recreate the past.

It could be Quavo and Offset giving the group—and Takeoff—the final chapter they never had the opportunity to finish.
